Advanced Massage Techniques, Inc. is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider. Provider #451043-09
It is my current understanding that the NCBTMB requires 48 CE hours every 4 years for National Certification renewal. Of the 48 hours of continuing education, 6 hours must include a study in ethics (including two (2) hours in Standard V: Roles and Boundaries). An HIV/AIDS course is not considered an ethics course. All 48 CE hours may be taken in an online or home study format.
You may visit ncbtmb.org to verify this information, or to file an application for re-certification.
Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) currently offers three levels of membership.
Certified level members are required to complete 16 hours of continuing education every two (2) years. All Advanced Massage Techniques courses are valid for meeting ABMP Certified Membership requirements.
Professional and Practitioner levels do not require continuing education to maintain membership.

The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) requires members to complete 48 hours of continuing education every four (4) years. All Advanced Massage Technique courses are valid for meeting AMTA membership requirements.
