For each course you will complete an online exam. These exams may be taken “open book” and allow unlimited retakes.

After successful completion of your exam, you will receive a printable certificate to keep for your records.

Given that you provide your license number on your exams, your credits will be submitted to CE Broker.

The next renewal deadline for all Florida Massage Therapists is August 31st, 2013.

Get a Free Printable License Renewal Checklist

ALL continuing education hours must be completed through a Florida Board – Approved Continuing Education Provider. (Advanced Massage Techniques is a Florida Approved Provider: #50-11905)

Complete 24 Hours of Continuing Education from a Florida Board-Approved continuing education provider.

At least twelve (12) hours in massage therapy techniques.

Up to twelve (12) hours can be in a home study/online format.

The following ethics courses must be completed each renewal and count toward the 24 continuing education hours:

• Two (2) Hours of Professional Ethics
• Two (2) Hours of Florida Massage Law and Rules
• Two (2) Hours of Prevention of Medical Errors

These courses may be completed in a classroom or in a home study/online format.

*PLEASE NOTE* As of July 1, 2012, the Florida Massage Board no longer requires one (1) Hour of HIV/AIDS Education for license renewal.

The requirements for your first Florida license renewal are slightly different than a regular license renewal.

This package is a low cost solution for first time renewal candidates requiring at least 6 CE hours, and it includes the mandatory 2 Hour Prevention of Medical Errors course.
